Phish Phish, Tuesday 12/03/2019 (2 years ago) Met Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA, USA
Gap Chart, Tour: 2019 Fall Tour
Set 1 : Hello My Baby , Tweezer > Free > The Moma Dance > Tweezer -> Blaze On , Jesus Just Left Chicago , Kill Devil Falls > Tweezer -> Ya Mar , Drift While You're Sleeping
Set 2 : Chalk Dust Torture 1 > Tweezer > Mike's Song > Sparkle , Ass Handed > Weekapaug Groove , Miss You > Waves > Twist > A Day in the Life > Also Sprach Zarathustra 2 > More
Encore : Waste > Tweezer Reprise
1 Unfinished. 2 Fish on Marimba Lumina.
Jamchart Notes:
Kill Devil Falls - At 5:50 the jam shifts to upbeat major play and immediately transforms into patented Phish bliss and then > into a continuation of "Tweezer". Unfinished.
Chalk Dust Torture - The lone Fall 2019 version sees Trey take the jam into major-key territory right out of the song proper, occasionally touching on Phrygian mode at times. Fish and Mike help propel this feel-good version along, with Trey getting off some nice trills, then as a sparser jam space emerges, Trey heads into the night's final tease of "Tweezer".
Also Sprach Zarathustra - This "2001" is not your average dance party. Phish pull out all the toys... the Marimba, THX sound-effects, drills, and tons of delays teleport the 3500 seat Met Theater into the center of the universe. One of the most unique versions in history gets wayyyy out there. The result is something along lines of the Borg landing in the middle of a Donnie Darko sequel.
Show Notes:
This show celebrated Phish Radio on Sirius XM with a large allotment of tickets given to Sirius listeners. Hello My Baby was performed for the first time since June 18, 2009 (417 shows). Jesus Just Left Chicago was played for the first time since October 22, 2014 (186 shows). Chalk Dust Torture was unfinished. Weekapaug Groove contained Ass Handed quotes from Trey, Fish, and Page. 2001 contained Skin It Back teases from Mike and Trey and featured Fish on Marimba Lumina

Phish, Friday 12/03/1999 (22 years ago) Firstar Center, Cincinnati, OH, USA
Gap Chart, Tour: 1999 Winter Tour
Set 1 : First Tube , Wolfman's Brother , Bouncing Around the Room , Back on the Train , Billy Breathes , AC/DC Bag > Possum , Slave to the Traffic Light
Set 2 : Sand , Limb By Limb , Bug > Piper , Harry Hood
Encore : Rock and Roll
Jamchart Notes:
Possum - Sort of a call and response between Trey and Page that becomes more of a Page-led jam. A very different, relaxed vibe.
Limb By Limb - Departs from "Limb" proper around 8:00 and heads into a dark, subdued jam during which Trey plays keyboard for a good portion. Not to everyone's liking, but more exploratory than most versions. Returns to "Limb" to conclude.

Phish, Wednesday 12/03/1997 (24 years ago) CoreStates Spectrum, Philadelphia, PA, USA
Gap Chart, Tour: 1997 Fall Tour (a.k.a. Phish Destroys America)
Set 1 : Punch You in the Eye > My Soul , Drowned , The Old Home Place , Gumbo > Also Sprach Zarathustra > You Enjoy Myself
Set 2 : David Bowie 1 -> Possum > Jam -> Prince Caspian > Frankenstein > Harry Hood
Encore : Crossroads
1 Simpsons signal. Unfinished.
Jamchart Notes:
Drowned - Funkalicious! Great up-tempo version that highlights the band's peaking cohesiveness and improvisational talent during the Fall 1997 run.
Gumbo - A badass "type II" (and dark) groove develops before dissolving into space, out of which 2001 begins.
David Bowie - Long intro with teases and a signal. A wonderfully upbeat, major mode movement develops and continues for about 5 1/2 minutes before cycling back to "Bowie." The rub: it takes 18 minutes to get to this departure from standard fare. Unfinished with a fantastic -> to "Possum."
Jam - > in from "Possum." An excellent Fall '97-style funk jam develops on the tail end of "Possum" and -> to "Prince Caspian."
Prince Caspian - -> out of a jammed out "Possum." Trey takes the lead here, providing inspired melodic content. > to "Frankenstein."
Show Notes:
Drowned included a Couldn't Stand the Weather jam. 2001 contained Super Bad teases from Trey. Page teased Smoke on the Water in YEM. Bowie was preceded by a Charge! tease, included Take Me Out to the Ballgame and Baby Elephant Walk teases, a Simpsons signal, and was unfinished.

Set 2 : Frankenstein 1 , Suzy Greenberg 1 > Buried Alive 1 , Gumbo 1 , Slave to the Traffic Light 1 , The Landlady 1 , Hold Your Head Up 1 > Touch Me 1 > Hold Your Head Up 1 , Alumni Blues Jam 1 > Julius 1 , Cavern 1
Encore : Golgi Apparatus
1 Cosmic Country Horns.
Jamchart Notes:
Run Like an Antelope - Another solid '94 "Antelope," with descending melodies, tension, dissonance, rhythmic variation, and a noisy, chaotic peak.
Show Notes:
Suzy contained a Hey Bulldog tease from Page. The entire second set featured the Cosmic Country Horns. The horns included Dave Grippo on alto sax and percussion, Carl Gerhard on trumpet, Michael Ray on trumpet, James Harvey on trombone, and Peter Apfelbaum on baritone, tenor sax and flute. The Alumni jam included an introduction of the horn section. The appearance of the horns led to the first Touch Me since July 27, 1991 (397 shows). The soundcheck's Frankenstein also included the Cosmic Country Horns. The opening act was Dave Matthews Band.

Gap Chart, Tour: 1992 Fall Tour
Set 1 : Maze , Fee 1 -> All Things Reconsidered , Split Open and Melt , Bouncing Around the Room , Uncle Pen , Chalk Dust Torture , The Horse > Silent in the Morning > Reba , Sweet Adeline 2 , Run Like an Antelope 3

Encore : Bold As Love
1 Trey sang verses through megaphone. 2 Without microphones. 3 Simpsons and Aw Fuck! signals. 4 Random Note signal.
Jamchart Notes:
Split Open and Melt - Another creative and different '92 take on the "SOAM" jam. And being that's it's 1992, there is sick shredding taboot!
Run Like an Antelope - Some cool "Cities" teases in the intro (last performance 9/13/88). The jam starts with a brief jam on Santana's "Gypsy Queen," then breaks into several distinct sections of perhaps not beautiful, but VERY exploratory jamming. Returns to "Antelope" with several peaks and Trey shredding.
Weekapaug Groove - Although essentially straightforward, it has a cool quiet section, then atypical melodies from Trey which serve to crank up the tension as the jam builds to a frothy peak.
Show Notes:
Trey sang the verses of Fee through a megaphone. Sweet Adeline was performed without microphones. Antelope included Simpsons and Aw Fuck! signals. During the break in Guelah, Trey explained the concept of the Big Ball Jam to the crowd. Guelah also included a Random Note signal. Trey teased Moving in Stereo in Mike's Song. 'A' Train included Dixie teases, to which the audience sang along.

2021.12.03 03:16 JSGlassbrook What units should I prioritize for a Salamanders Army?

I'm planning on getting into playing 40k rather than just collecting the models for their looks. The plan is to start with a 500p list and slowly add to it mostly due to budget constraints.
If I'm building Salamanders then what units should I absolutely have for that 500p list and what's the best stuff to add as I steadily increase the size of my army?

2021.12.03 03:16 Ahoomanbeanzz Is there someone I can hire to help get me mask exemptions on planes and help find / plan trips to countries that have zero covid restrictions?

I've been stuck in Thailand since the "pandemic" and I have no desire to get vaccinated (if you can even call it that -- seems to 100% wear off after 6 months lol).
I've been waiting for awhile for planes to stop requiring masks so I can travel maybe to some actually free countries with zero covid restrictions / quarantine / vaccine mandates and so on.
But it seems like they're going to try to drag this on forever. I assume there must be loopholes in place, because nobody can ACTUALLY legally force you to wear a mask.
But I assume the loopholes are so convoluted and difficult to learn about so that it deters people from doing it.
So what I'm wondering is -- has any organization started offering services to essentially find loopholes for airlines so you don't have to wear a mask and help kind of plan out trips for people who have no desire to comply with these tyrannical dictates?

2021.12.03 03:16 jstfndsmbdytkll Is there any way for an individual to send off their own fibres to a (local Australian) factory to get it woven into cloth in Australia? Or is that just for businesses?

I’m wondering how I’m ever going to be able to get a big pile of cashmere that I’ve been gently collecting from my pet goats over the past few years woven into cloth.
I’ve looked at looms but I don’t trust my skill nor do I have the patience. I just figured it would be easier to send them to a textile factory and get them to weave it. I also want to increase my own fibre production in the near future.
Is this even possible for an individual doing it as a hobby? I can’t seem to find anything about it on the internet.
